Self-Drilling Sheet Metal Screws

Self-Drilling Sheet Metal Screws

Sheet metal screws, Self drilling

Pan heads are slightly rounded with short vertical sides. Phillips drives are X shaped for a phillips screw driver.
A stainless alloy that is harder than 18-8 stainless steel, but not as resistant to corrosion.
A low carbon steel for general use. Zinc plated for moderate corrosion resistance

Socket Products

Socket cap

Socket caps have a small cylindrical head with tall vertical sides. Allen drives are six sided recesses for use with an allen wrench.

Stainless steel 18-8

The most common stainless steel for general hardware use.

Zinc plated alloy steel

A very high strength heat treated alloy steel. Zinc plated for moderate corrosion resistance.

Alloy steel black oil finish

A very high strength heat treated alloy steel. Black oil (plain) finish.

Socket head screw (smooth)

Socket caps have a small cylindrical head with tall vertical sides. Allen drives are six sided recesses for use with an allen wrench.

Chrome plated grade 8 steel

A tempered medium carbon steel. Grade 8 is stronger than grade 5, and is commonly found in high strength automotive applications. Chrome plated and polished for a mirror like finish.

Socket flat head screw

Flat heads are countersunk (cone shaped under the head) with a flat top. Allen drives are six sided recesses for use with an allen wrench.

Stainless steel 18-8

The most common stainless steel for general hardware use.

Alloy steel black oil finish

A very high strength heat treated alloy steel. Black oil (plain) finish.

Chrome plated grade 8 steel

A tempered medium carbon steel. Grade 8 is stronger than grade 5, and is commonly found in high strength automotive applications. Chrome plated and polished for a mirror like finish.

Zinc plated alloy steel

Zinc plated for moderate corrosion resistance.

Socket button head screw

Button heads are rounded and low profile.
